Those who I trust to transact and manage investments are disqualified/prohibited persons. Who can I invest with?
There are plenty of people you might not immediately think of whom you are allowed to transact with or manage investment in your Self-Directed IRA or Self-Directed Solo 401(k).
- Non-family members and trusted friends
- Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins
- In-laws
- Brothers and sisters
- Companies you or your family have less than 50% ownership
- A property manager, restaurant manager, farmhand, handyman, or specialist who focuses on fixing day-to-day issues in your investment's area.
